Katherine Heigl is saying goodbye to Grey's Anatomy like she's wanted to do for so long. James Pickens Jr., aka Dr. Webber, confirmed that Katherine Heigl and TR Knight are both leaving to pursue other career paths.

Katherine Heigl has a brain tumor on Grey's, and I figure she's going to die soon, but I have no idea what's going to happen to George. Perhaps TR Knight's character will lose it because Izzie died.

We know that Katherine Heigl's character is going to die and stay dead because she pissed off the writers, but word has it that they're going to leave the storyline open for George in case he wants to return to the show. And if his acting is any indication, he'll be back in a couple of months.
