The View Hosts Demand a Salary Raise

The girls of The View: Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd, are demanding huge pay raises from Barbara Walters because the show is a huge success and they want a piece of the pie. 

According to the show's producers, The View's viewership is up to 4.2 million from 2.5 million just a year ago. They say it's thanks, in part, to Barbara Walters' decision to increase the time for the Hot Topics segments, where all the ladies are free to argue to their hearts' content. 

So now the ladies of The View are demanding several million dollars in pay raises and I, for one, thing they should get it because, let's face it; if Barbara Walters left the show, no one would care. But if Elisabeth Hasselbeck of Joy Behar left, we'd feel the emptiness.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is pregnant with her third child and she made the announcement this morning on The View. That's great, just what we need; another Republican with skewed views.

Anyway, Elisabeth Hasselbeck was saying that she was having a hard time getting pregnant this time around and had been trying for a while. She found out last month that she was indeed pregnant and is "over the moon" about it. Yes, over the freakin' moon.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Supports Barack Obama

The day after Barack Obama was voted in as the next President of the United States, Elisabeth Hasselbeck told her cohosts on The View that she would get behind Barack Obama and support him with everything she's got because that's what an American should do.

But it seems that what Elisabeth Hasselbeck is doing is less about being an American and more about remaining employed. Apparently, Elisabeth Hasselbeck made some very rude remarks about Michelle Obama while campaigning for John McCain and his genius potential VP Sarah Palin, and now Barbara Walters has told Elisabeth Hasselbeck that she best get behind Barack Obama publicly and send Michelle Obama a personal apology if she wants to keep her job.

Barbara Walters' reason for doing this is to ensure that Michelle Obama has no issue with appearing on The View in the future. So listen up as Elisabeth Hasselbeck begins her brownnosing from this point forward.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck's McCain Shirt Gets Heat

So Elisabeth Hasselbeck has opted to voice her Republican beliefs by creating T-shirts that promote John McCain and she wore it on an episode of The View. Joy Behar called her on it and Elisabeth Hasselbeck fired back that Joy Behar always promotes her politically charged comedy routines on the show, so there.

Well, as you can imagine, that didn't fare well with Joy Behar and I'm certain she kicked the crap out of her backstage, but all that really matters is that Elisabeth Hasselbeck designed that T-shirt herself.

I mean, you gotta give credit where credit is due. Now let's get Barack to business.

Wow, the getting's good on The View. While I was certain that Elisabeth Hasselbeck was going to get fired, it finally donned on me that they would never fire her because she's the one drawing in the ratings.

On October 7, 2008, Sherri Shepherd lost her mind on Elisabeth Hasselbeck after she called Reverend Wright a hate monger. Sherri Shepherd literally went postal and Elisabeth Hasselbeck told her to relax because Sherri Shepherd was waving her fingers and contorting her head while freaking our on Elisabeth.

Finally, Barbara Walters told them all to shut the hell up and look at the facts instead of the minutaie. It was nothing short of terrific.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Defends Sarah Palin

After Sarah Palin screwed up by making fun of Joe Biden's age without realizing that John McCain is the oldest man that ever lived, The View's Joy Behar blasted her and, of course, Elisabeth Hasselbeck comes to her rescue, defending her blindly.

Of course, Barbara Walters gets hella pissed at Elisabeth Hasselbeck for defending her when it's so obvious that she screwed up. And when Barbara Walters confronts Elisabeth Hasselbeck about what would possibly make Sarah Palin a good president, Elisabeth Hasselbeck returns with another question: What would make Barack Obama a good president?

What a jackass. Someone should just fire her ass already.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck To Be Fired From The View?

It seems that Elisabeth Hasselbeck may have to start looking for a new line of work after a heated debate over Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin on The View.

It got to the point where Barbara Walters had to tell Elisabeth Hasselbeck to "calm down" and then chewed her out after they cut to commercial.

This is not the first time Elisabeth Hasselbeck has lost her cool and you can bet it won't be the last. This chick tends to use whichever argument suits her at the time in order to prove her point, because you know that if it was a Dem who had an unwed teenage mother for a child, Elisabeth Hasselbeck would plant her into the ground.

So I'm guessing that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is gonna go ba-bye and get fired any day now and they'll replace her with another Republican who's perhaps a little older and more composed. Let's say the always lovely Ann Coulter for argument's sake.
